This practice is designed to help relieve you from the stress of the anxious thoughts that your outward thinking mind creates and to help you instead, to create coherence between your heart and brain, leading to a state of inner balance and well-being.
Shift your awareness to your heart: Close your eyes and gently touch your heart center. Allow your awareness to shift from your outward thinking mind to your inward feeling heart.
Slow Down Your Breathing
**Breath-work** Take slow, deep breaths and aim for a rhythm where the exhale is slightly longer than the inhale. The longer exhale helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation.
Elevate Your Emotions
**Emotion** Now, while maintaining your focus on the heart and your breathing, connect to a memory that evokes the feelings of gratitude, appreciation, or compassion. These emotions are the magical frequencies that enhance the heart-brain coherence.
**Visualization**: Visualize a situation or a person that naturally evokes these positive emotions. Feel them as vividly as you can.
